Year Twos are beginning their recount writing. We are going on an Amazing Race around the school. When we return we will plan and record some interesting sentences about the Amazing Race. The students' writing will include time words such as first, next, then, adjectives and adverbs and paragraphing. Please talk to your child about their recount writing. I wanna Iguana A little boy tries to persuade mum to get his friend's iguana. Follow the directions and then write down a procedural text to give the instructions. We are learning about Procedural Texts and how to follow instructions. What are some of the main ideas of the fables? What happened in the beginning, middle and end of the fables? Did the author use special words for the fables?
